Everything you need to know to host one of our events
Farm to Fork Fondo is a non-competitive bicycle event organized by Wrenegade Sports where cyclists ride from farm to farm, stopping to sample chef-prepared food made from each farm’s ingredients. The mission of Farm to Fork Fondo is to celebrate the symbiotic relationship between cyclists, farmers, and the region’s beautiful landscapes. This is an inclusive community event, and part of our mission is to benefit our host communities, which we do through donations to local charitable and community groups that volunteer to assist the event.
As our venue, your business would:
Host a Saturday evening gourmet dinner with approximately 60-100 attendees
Serve as the start-finish area for the main event on Sunday. Approximately 400-600 cyclists will depart en masse between 8 and 9 A.M. and return for a catered post-ride meal, with festivities ending at 6 P.M.
Set-up Location & Roles : Determine when and where we can set up our event infrastructure and establish roles (e.g. whose staff will manage parking).
Insurance: Farm to Fork Fondo is fully insured and will name your business as additionally insured.
Contract: We will both sign our standard Wrenegade Sports venue contract and any event contracts of yours to formalize terms.
Outreach: We will include your business in our promotional campaign leading up to the event.
Our Physical Footprint
Participant parking: space for approximately 250-500 vehicles
Party tents for post-ride meal seating and staff staging area
Bicycle parking stands for 100-120 bicycles
~(20-30) 10 x 10 tents for finisher, information, merchandise tents, and vendors
Branded crowd fencing installed along the driveway to define the start/finish line
Staff parking for approximately 10 vehicles and a 48-foot trailer
Preferably indoor venue for Saturday night dinner
Potable Water Access: To fill beverage containers and supple a dedicated water bottle filling station on event day.
Garbage Disposal: For cardboard and food waste
We would also like to know the availability of the following:
Temporary office space for 1-2 people
Wireless internet access
Cold storage for prepared food, produce, and ice
